Here was the care package I received from the fine folks at DonorsChoose for my mustache fundraiser. I had a pathetic 'stache, but a bunch of awesome people donated over $800 in its honor. My horrid facial hair (now removed) and I thank you.

I can't get enough of this. In fact, someone just emailed it to me :)
Thanks again, Shaun!
Doing this for years at reddit was a lot of fun and some great therapy, but I must confess that the invention of twitter makes it a whole new kind of fulfilling since I can read & respond to reactions to the doodles in real-time.
This weekend, I couldn't help but go through the photos from our October journey through Asia. Christina traveled to our donation sites in Nepal, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, spending four weeks total -- read about it.
I was only in Laos for a week with her, but it did give us a chance to visit the first xkcd school. The girl looking at you is one of many who are affected by the extensive work Room to Read does not only to increase literacy and local-language publishing, but also to educate girls.
Merry Christmas, International Space Station! Your awesome video - from space!! - shan't be ignored by the Internet any longer now that reddit has arrived.
PS Awesome space hair!
Cowabunga!
As the reddit alien's maker (note: I didn't impregnate his wife), I can't deny seeing a bit of reddit alien in that image. I'd love to know how much time the couple spends on reddit each day -- for science!
But most importantly, I wish these two the healthy & happy birth of their reddit alien-looking spawn.
The folks at Kinko's were pretty amused by the 3' x 3' printout I made of this. They did a beautiful job.
Can't believe I forgot to post this photo. It's so hard to find stores in the USA that'll let you compare nunchuck brands. Rock on, Laos.
