Indeed, some of the other partners liken working at Y Combinator to building a university or a new type of institution that’s never seen before.

Early morning on Bloomberg's InsideTrack today, but it's always fun. And they've got great iced coffee.

Part of that might have something to do with the site’s co-founder asking Reddit users to join them in voting, and conveniently submitting a direct link to Martin’s nomination page. The site’s user base is very familiar with the concept of judging submissions, and is responsible for bringing in a monstrous two billion page views per month.

He got my vote.

In the United States, books published before 1922 are in the public domain. Later ones are copyrighted. And the window no longer shifts. Congress enacts retroactive extensions of copyright terms, so the public domain never expands. The impact on book shimpments, as seen above, is dramatic.
